Masters of Business Administration in HR


MBA in HR is Management of Business Administration in Human Resource is a course study aim to give management competence to the students to function and manage human resource effectively in an organization. Human Resources are the individuals constituting manpower or personnel of an organization. The initial of the word Human resource that is HR is the term normally used for the position assigned to an individual who is responsible for making and managing strategies for the management of human resource and not to forget, everyone have faced one or the other interview in some company, where HR is the one who take one’s interview for the recruitments. HR also manages administration of legal documents, training and assessment, conduct and behavior, payroll, rewards and benefits etc. for the employee or the workforce of an organization.
In economics theory, Land, Stock, Capital Goods and Labor are the four factor of production in a firm. With applied approaches and research, labor as one of the factor of production or we can say is the solid pillar which is giving stand to the whole organization, has become the specialized term in management that is Human Resource. Purpose of management of human resource is to increase the ROI (Return on Investment) on investment in human capital in an organization with minimum risk.
Why one should pursue MBA in HR? The answer is in front of us, it just needs to envision. It is like that we need a track to align all the compartments of train, so that they run on same track and reach the destination in order without any trouble to anyone. Same is with the management of human resource, every organization require a manager who can effectively manage and satisfy the genuine needs of workforce, so that they can give their 100% in achieving the goals of the company without any complication and hence ensuring the success of the company.
Everything has pros and cons, and is same with MBA in HR. Due to general public perception; HR is not the subject to study but it is one’s ability to manage the personnel of an organization with a common sense and it is the field for women only and so and so.  Low salary package is another hindrance that one does not agree to go for MBA in HR specialization. But people forget the economic theory that human resource is the important pillar for a company and being a HR recruiting good and effective workforce is not only the work of common sense but the deep study of the HR field and its management. And low salary packages are soon going to be a past thing, since companies either big or small are recognizing the importance of HR management and hence offering lucrative packages for the position of HR also.
How one can opt for MBA in HR? The eligibility to enroll in this course is to have a bachelor degree in any course and have to clear an entrance examination like CAT (Common Admission Test), MAT (Management Admission Test), and GMAT (Graduate Admission Test) or any entrance exam conducted by College of MBAs.
