National Law University - Jodhpur

The National Law University-NLU is located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. NLU is affiliated to the National Law University, Jodhpur. It is one of the pioneer law schools of the country. It is the only University in the country, which engages in the finest experiment of converging legal knowledge with other disciplines like management, finance, economics and science. The University gives an opportunity to explore the undiscovered nuances of the legal profession and is engaged in setting new standards in legal education. It offers B.B.A., LL.B. Honors, B.A., LL.B. Honors.; and B.Sc., LL.B courses.

Facilities and Extra-Curricular Activities

It is has the state-of-art infrastructure to meets all the need of modern legal education with the highest standards. Under the roof of NLU five schools of learning, namely, School of Law, School of Management Studies, School of Policy Science, School of Science, and School of Constitutional Governance are situated. These schools are involved to prepare the students to face challenges at the national and international corporate law firms, and corporate houses.

To sharpen their advocacy skills, the students are also provided to clinical education, court visits and moot courts. It has a team of devoted faculties who work continuously on their students, discovering innovative teaching learning methodology, blending of theoretical knowledge with practical learning and to guide them how to develop professional attitude.

All the class rooms are completely air-conditioned with LCD Projector. The Library of NLU has a collection of about 10,000 books and subscribes to more than a 100 national and international journals. It remains open on all working days.

Academic block has a well-equipped computer Lab with latest configuration and 4 Mbps internet facilities. It has well equipped gyms. One for girls and one for boys. Mess block served veg and non-veg nutritious food to the students.

Beside the study, students of this College have consistently performed well at different cultural, literary and sports activities.T he fresher’s welcome takes place every year for new batch of students.

In the college fest students have a fun like anything. Celebrities from the different part of the Bengal come here to perform. Students also actively take part in the fest. They organize debate, quiz competition, music, dance, drama, etc. It provides the best opportunity for the students where they can show their talent in front of crowded audience.

Placements

The students have been hired by national regulators, senior counsels, reputed national and international law firms, corporates, and financial institutions.

The average salary packages offered by the national law firms range from Rs. 4.8 lakh to Rs. 14 lakh per annum, whereas, the international law firms have offered packages from Rs. 28 lakh to Rs. 30 lakh per annum. The pay packages of corporates range from Rs. 4.5 lakh to Rs. 11 lakh per annum.
